Thank you for visiting! You are the reason I am here…you are the reason I share my story.
What Makes Me Tick?
There are times in your life when you make a bad decision, or maybe two. But when you make several in a row, you can find yourself in the pit of despair. The pivotal moment is not when you find yourself there…it is when you believe that you belong there!
I want you to know that you do not belong in the pit.
I want you to know that it does not matter who you have been, or what you have done, because of the love of Jesus Christ, there is a good life…and it is AVAILABLE to you! Today can be the day that you change your mind and change your direction. You can move away from misery into the redemptive light. You can become the woman you always wanted to be. A woman that you can be proud of. A woman that can look herself in the mirror and genuinely smile back at. A woman that knows her true worth in the eyes of God.
What Fuels Me?
I am unabashedly associated with God in all areas of my life. He is a constant. He is the foundation on which all other blessings rest upon. I find strength, solace, redemption, refreshment, surrender, acceptance, and love in Him. This personal relationship with God is what encourages me throughout any day. Whether it is the BEST DAY EVER…or hardest day ever…I am never alone…he is always with me. This fuels me.
Who’s in my Clan?
I am married to a very loving and patient man, James, and we have two dudes, Merrick and Donovan. Our North Idaho home would not be complete without our miniature schnauzer, Sadie. She is a schnauzer, and a dog, therefore we call her “our schnaug”.
We love to enjoy each season that our beautiful patch of the world offers with hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, tennis, wakeboarding, and boating. We love a good campfire in the summer, and the boys consider Dad a professional s’mores maker. (He puts the chocolate inside the mallow before roasting it!) We are lovers of documentaries and you can find us snuggled under blankets on the couch watching one any time of the year.
I am Mom-gyver!
The boys, Dad included, affectionately call me Mom-gyver. Named after the old 80’s TV show Macgyver, I have an uncanny ability to solve little problems as they come along, often with the odd collection of my purse contents. I refuse to believe that there is only one way to solve anything and consider it a challenge when someone suggests defeat. Mom-gyver to the rescue!
